NTD A400 – with uplifting design

The NTD A400 is a well designed screw-driven platform lift, especially suitable for situations where simple installation is required without unnecessary alterations to the existing building. NTD A400 is aesthetically styled and thus is suitable for all environments. The high quality makes NTD A400 very reliable and is a favourite among many customers.

The lift structure is covered by toughened and laminated glazed or steel panels, providing a stylish and reliable platform. The nominal lifting capacity is 400 kg and the maximum lift height is 13 metres.

No pit is required

The NTD A400 can be installed directly onto the floor, which avoids the cost of excavating a shaft under the floor level.

Easy to use

The NTD A400 is designed with emphasis on the ease of use. It is easy to operate and it is very reliable.

Safety first

All the outer edges of the platform have a flexible safety frame that immediately stops the lift when touched. The speed is limited and the lift control system is "hold to run". In addition, it is equipped with an emergency stop and alarm. It has very high reliability.

Cost efficient

The installation is very cost efficient. There is no need for extensive building work or a separate machine room. Thus the installation is easy to carry out, which helps to keep the maintenance costs low.

Tested and certified

The NTD A400 is constructed, tested and approved according to the Machinery Directive and it also conforms to all applicable European standards. It is EC type approved and certified by Det Norske Veritas (DNV). The lift is CE marked and comes with a Declaration of Conformity.

Alternative sizes

The NTD A400 is available in four semi-standard models, with different platform sizes for indoor installations, NTD A400 S1-S4 (see fact box). We can also provide the standard size NTD A400 with a high platform back, 2 200 mm, NTD A400H.
